Meet The Owner
Nimrita’s journey to becoming the owner of Tavoos Spa is a testament to following one’s passion. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from DePaul University and embarking on a corporate finance career at Freddie Mac, Nimrita realized that the corporate world was not where her heart lay. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, she had always dreamed of owning her own business. Her love for beauty and skincare, which she developed from a young age, was a calling that she couldn’t ignore.
During her college years, she worked at Sephora, gaining invaluable experience in the beauty industry. However, her true transformation occurred when she began exploring various spas and medspas, where she worked closely with an aesthetician who opened her eyes to the fascinating world of skincare. Nimrita became enamored with the intricacies of skincare, including its chemistry and formulations.
She observed a gap in the industry: clients were forced to choose between results-driven treatments at medspas or relaxation at traditional spas, often missing the opportunity to experience both. Nimrita decided to bridge this gap, offering a unique combination of results-driven skincare and relaxation in a single setting.
With the unwavering support of her husband, Nimrita took a leap of faith, leaving her corporate finance job to chase her dream of being in the spa industry!

Vickie is a nationally certified Massage Therapist with 30 years of experience, she provides a variety of massage modalities that include Swedish Relaxation, deep tissue, and integrative reflexology. Vickie’s knowledge, experience, and compassion offers quality caring touch for all.
