[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”How does Halotherapy work?”]
The state of the art non-stop halogenerator crushes the pure pharmaceutical grade salt into microscopic particles that acquire a negative charge and high surface energy. These fine salt particles are dispersed into the salt room where about 100 seconds those particles are alive charged with sizzling kinetic energy and carry powerful life force to facilitate healing in the human body.

[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”Why is Halotherapy more effective than moist salt therapy?”]
Dry sodium chloride aerosol has a considerable level of negative charge of the particles. The inner surfaces of airways have a slight positive charge. Negatively charged particles of dry sodium chloride aerosol move in the lumen of the respiratory tract and settle more intensively compared to neutral particles. In addition, the negative charge increases aerosol stability. Thus dry aerosol action is much more effective than one that is moist. Additionally, dry salt therapy can be measured and the dosages can be regulated weathers moist salt therapy doesn’t offer that option.

[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”Why not Himalayan or Dead Sea salt?”]
The Halotherapy room is filled with 7 tons of pure organic Himalayan salt. The Halogenerator functions with pure 99.9% pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride. The reason why the Himalayan or Dead Sea salt is not used in the Halogenerator is because it is impossible to predict the correct amount of inhaled minerals since the amount of minerals is not constant in the salt crystals. Other than that, many of those types of salts contain clay, mud, soil and other impurities. Inhaling impurities may cause allergic reactions and other side effects. Use of other salts is considered experimental and can cause various side effects.

[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”How many treatments will I need?”]
Every experience is different, and it depends on the type and severity of the condition. Standard recommendation is to have a course of 10-15 treatments, preferably within 4-8 weeks. There could be some improvement after a single session, but a series of treatments is required to achieve long-term results. For mild conditions, 6-8 treatments may be enough. Some people use treatments as a preventative measure to avoid the common cold, and other respiratory viruses.

[dt_sc_toggle_framed title=”What should I expect during my visit?”]
Halotherapy experience is very pleasant and relaxing. You will be sitting in the beautiful room where the walls, ceiling and the floor are covered with exotic Himalayan salt . Sensual ambiance, dim lights and soft music will induce rapid relaxation. During 45 min. the Halogenerator will disperse dry salt particles into the room. Closing your eyes and focusing on taking slow deep breaths is highly recommended. It is a perfect time to meditate and to get connected with your body. It is very common to fall asleep or day dream during the session.

You might taste salt on the lips, similar to being by the ocean. In rare occasions, Halotherapy may produce a slight skin irritation in some individuals that will disappear after a few sessions, and some people may experience a mild throat tickle, which can be easily treated by sipping warm water after the session.

In general, you should expect increased mucous production, may have runny nose or a productive cough after the session. This is the body’s natural mechanism for elimination of toxins, pollens, and viruses. If you have ever smoked in the past, you may experience a period of cough and mucous production as your body naturally clears the lungs of residual toxins.
